The best parts about the Valtra tractors are the parts Valtra has designed and made completely themselves, every component that’s fully made in Suolahti or Linnavuori. The Agco global platform was not made by Valtra, as well as GIMA transmissions. It works, but it is not the same as real Valtra. The more Valtra/Valmet in a tractor, the better. We still use a Valmet from 1987 with 12000 hours on it to mow grass, rake grass, wrap bales, collect bales, drive fertilizer wagon, drive fertilizer spreader (mineral), mulch leftover grass after grazing, and winch (for most of the winter), and the tractor just works and has done for ages. For a 68 horse power tractor from 1987 with 12000 hours on it, that’s not bad. That’s real valmet/valtra quality. The mf 5400 we had, had to had a 4wd rebuild at 6000 hours. The valmet has had 12000 hours without anything needing to be opened on its system. Look at the prices for the older Valmets. Some 30 year old valmets with 7000-10000 hours cost about the same as a brand new A- series. People really love mechanical, simple tractors with no problem. With parts designed and manufactured by Valtra in suolahti. A gearbox from Suolahti will last maybe 2 or 3 times as long as a cost cutting one from a developing country. It might feel like a manufacturer is doing things backwards by having less electronics and making the mechanical stuff in more expensive countries, but i really think it makes for much better brand reputation in the future. When the mf global came, i heard they had problems with the tractors coming with untightened bolts from factory, what does that do with the brands reputation for the customer that bought it..? Cost cutting is not the way to go. But a simple tractor is the recipe for success. If a tractor had two gear sticks and a 4wd shuttle, it would be perfect. Everything i mention should be designed and made in Finland though, that’s the part that makes it extra reliable. I am very glad to read that you are bringing home more of the production by bringing home the new S-series and the new Q-series. This is just positive. We replaced our mf with a 4th gen n-series and there havent been any serious issues. Thank you for making the best quality tractors we’ve ever had, and please continue doing so.

i have Valtra Q i know S is the best but Q is newest i can tell you all my tractors i guess?:Valtra A92,valtra G135 (VERSU),valtra valmet 900,Valtra T175,Case IH xl 1056,fiat (fiatagri),Valtra N142,fendt 1050 vario,john deere 9RX 640,fendt 320 vario. thats all tractors i have not all harvesters but i only have 1 harvester. OMG:)
